The Gilded Age Season 4 gets November premiere date and first teaser
The scheming and soirées of 1880s New York have a return date. Variety reports that the fourth season of HBO's "The Gilded Age" will premiere on November 1, airing on both HBO and HBO Max at 9 p.m. ET/PT.
The network also dropped a first teaser for the new season. TVLine's description highlights several storylines glimpsed in the footage.
It shows Agnes van Rhijn, played by Christine Baranski, stressed over hosting a dinner for the president. Denée Benton's Peggy struggles with her fiancé William's mother, portrayed by Phylicia Rashad. Meanwhile, Carrie Coon's Bertha Russell is seen desperately trying to hide the cracks in her marriage.
The season's official logline, per Variety, states Bertha's family must face the fallout of her social climbing, while Agnes looks to reclaim her status. Marian seeks a new direction, and Peggy works to win over her future in-laws.
The massive returning cast includes Cynthia Nixon, Morgan Spector, Taissa Farmiga, and Audra McDonald. TVLine details several new faces joining the drama, including Taylor Trensch as a new servant in the van Rhijn home and James Scully as a painter's apprentice who causes a stir. Dennis Haysbert plays a doctor with a surprising link to a character, and Bonnie Milligan joins as the editor of a prominent women's magazine.
