‘The Trauma Code: Heroes on Call’ Gets Seasons 2 and 3 at Netflix

Netflix has officially greenlit two more seasons of its Korean medical drama 'The Trauma Code: Heroes on Call,' per Variety. Production is now underway on both Season 2 and Season 3.
The show's freshman run was a major hit for the streamer back in 2025. It reportedly landed in the Top 10 charts across 63 different countries, hitting the number one spot in 18 of them.
The original lead actors are all set to return. Ju Ji-hoon will be back as the relentless surgeon Baek Kang-hyuk. Choo Young-woo reprises his role as Yang Jae-won, the protégé following in his mentor's footsteps. They'll be joined again by co-stars Yoon Kyung-ho and Jeong Jae-kwang.
A new face joining the trauma team is Jeong Ye-in, who was cast after a competitive audition. She will play nurse Cheon Jang-mi. Lee Do-yun returns as both the director and the writer for the new seasons.
The series, based on the webtoon 'Trauma Center: Golden Hour,' will stream exclusively on Netflix. No release dates for the upcoming seasons have been announced.
