The Watcher Season 2 finally starts filming this fall with original cast

Netflix is officially bringing its creepy mystery series back to life. According to Variety, production on Season 2 of "The Watcher" is scheduled to kick off in New York this fall.
Naomi Watts and Bobby Cannavale are set to return, reprising their lead roles from the first season. They'll be joined by fellow Season 1 cast members Margo Martindale and Isabel Gravitt.
The new season arrives a full four years after the show's debut. The first season launched in October 2022 and was initially billed as a limited series, but Netflix renewed it for a second installment that same November.
Ryan Murphy and Ian Brennan created the series, which is loosely inspired by the true story of a family tormented by threatening letters from a stalker calling themselves "The Watcher." Brennan will serve as showrunner for the new season.
The first season was a major viewership hit for Netflix, racking up hundreds of millions of viewing hours in its first weeks. It remains to be seen if the long-delayed follow-up can capture that same audience.
