Todd Howard shoots down rivalry talk as Obsidian gears up for new Fallout
Todd Howard is once again swatting away rumors of a bitter feud. According to IGN, Howard dismissed "fan chatter" about a supposed rivalry between Bethesda Game Studios and Obsidian Entertainment.
The topic is buzzing again because Obsidian is reportedly starting work on a new Fallout game. Kotaku notes Howard said The Elder Scrolls 6 is Bethesda's main focus, with ZeniMax Online Studios aligning more closely with them after recent leadership layoffs.
PC Gamer cheekily noted Howard had to repeat his denial. For now, Howard seems focused on his own studio's projects while Obsidian's Fallout plans heat up.
