The clip shows Cruise putting on sunglasses and sliding down the crowded corridor as the crew cheers. The show's Instagram post teased that the internet wasn't ready for it.

One fan noted the turnout was unusually high, comparing it to a visit from Michelle Obama. Another viewer simply stated the hallway had never been that full before.

Cruise is set to appear on Hudson's show to promote his new film Digger.
