Toy Story 5 Tops Streaming Charts in Its Disney+ Debut

Pixar's Toy Story 5 launched straight to number one on Nielsen's streaming rankings, according to The Hollywood Reporter. The film grabbed 1.54 billion minutes of watch time in its first week on Disney+.

That huge minute count translates to roughly 15.1 million complete viewings. The report notes this performance is second only to Zootopia 2's March debut for a Disney+ movie this year.

Monster: The Lizzie Borden Story landed in second place with 1.36 billion minutes, a drop of just 8% from its premiere. The Reacher spinoff Neagley followed with 1.25 billion minutes, falling about 30% week-over-week.

Netflix had two new entries in the overall top ten: Wonka's The Golden Ticket with 854 million minutes and A Different World with 751 million. Paramount+'s MobLand returned to the charts after its season two premiere.

The ratings cover U.S. viewing on television sets only for the week of September 21-27, 2026.
