Ubisoft Will Unveil Ghost Recon's Future This August

Ubisoft has officially promised a Ghost Recon update for August 6, the franchise's 25th anniversary. The announcement, first reported by GameSpot, comes after a wave of recent leaks about the series.

Insider Gaming, per GameSpot, previously reported on a leak for 'Ghost Recon: Wildlands Definitive Edition,' a current-gen remaster. VGC adds that this version is tipped to include a new mission and 4K60 support.

PC Gamer notes that while Ubisoft is teasing news for the anniversary, it's unrelated to the long-awaited Splinter Cell remake.
