UK's Count Binface vows to nationalize Sega unless Shenmue 4 gets made
UK politics got a lot more interesting for gamers this week as Count Binface, a candidate running against Nigel Farage, has made Sega a central part of his campaign. The novelty politician, who dresses as a trash can, has called on the company to finally produce Shenmue 4 and reopen its West End Arcade, per IGN and GameSpot.
Kotaku reports Binface said he has 'a little bone to pick with' Sega over the long-awaited sequel. PC Gamer adds he's taken time off from the campaign trail to address what he calls 'a real national problem.'
His most dramatic pledge? According to PC Gamer, Binface has threatened to nationalize the entire company if Sega doesn't come through with an update on the beloved franchise. It's a promise no other candidate is making.
