Union Leaders Pressure Rockstar to Recognize GTA 6 Workers

The push for unionization at Rockstar Games is gaining heavyweight support. Per Rock Paper Shotgun, 22 trade union leaders have signed a new letter calling on the Grand Theft Auto 6 developer to formally recognize the IWGB Game Workers union.

The letter is addressed directly to Rockstar studio director Jennifer Kolbe and head of HR Rob Spampinato. It urges the company to begin bargaining with the union, marking another step in the organizing effort.

This adds significant pressure from the broader labor movement as Rockstar moves forward with its next blockbuster project.
