Universal's Animated 'Forgotten Island' Hits Digital Next Week
Universal's recent animated fantasy 'Forgotten Island' is heading to digital storefronts in just a few days, per ScreenRant.
The DreamWorks film, which hit theaters in late September, will be available for purchase on video-on-demand platforms starting October 27. The digital package will include over an hour of bonus content, such as behind-the-scenes looks at the movie's anime-inspired visual style and its roots in Filipino mythology.
Also included are featurettes where voice stars H.E.R. and Liza Soberano discuss their characters' friendship, and the directors explore the film's cultural influences. A full audio commentary from co-directors Joel Crawford and Januel Mercado is also part of the release.
The movie follows two best friends who find themselves on a magical island where they must escape before losing their memories. A disc release for the film is also planned for later this year.
