US Army battalion offers GTA 6 playtime as reenlistment bonus
The US military is leveling up its recruitment tactics. According to reports from IGN and Kotaku, an Army battalion is offering soldiers a very modern perk: four days off to play Grand Theft Auto 6 this November.
There's a catch, of course. Per the reports, you have to reenlist to get the virtual keys to the city. It's a novel twist on the old signing bonus.
While details are scarce, the offer seems targeted at a very specific demographic. It's unclear if this is an official Army-wide program or just one creative commander's idea of a retention bonus.
