Wednesday Season 3 Wraps Filming as Netflix Shares a Fresh Image of Jenna Ortega

Netflix has officially finished shooting the third season of its smash hit series 'Wednesday'. The announcement was accompanied by a new look at Jenna Ortega's iconic character, per TheWrap.

The fresh image shows Ortega's Wednesday Addams in her signature gloomy style, sitting stone-faced at a typewriter against a stark black-and-white backdrop.

Variety reports that production on the new season spanned seven months, taking place in Dublin, Ireland, and also in Paris. Filming began in February of this year.

Season 3 will introduce a host of new cast members. As reported by both outlets, these include Eva Green as Morticia's sister Ophelia, and Winona Ryder, reuniting with director Tim Burton and co-star Ortega. Other newcomers listed are Chris Sarandon, Lena Headey, Noah Taylor, Andrew McCarthy, Oscar Morgan, James Lance, and Kennedy Moyer.

The streamer has not yet set a premiere date, but the series is on track to come back next year.
