Witcher 3 Remastered gets Switch 2 patch to fix blurry visuals

The promised patch for The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt - Remastered on the Switch 2 is now live, per Eurogamer.
CD Projekt Red's update primarily tweaks image sharpening and resolution to, as the studio says, improve visual clarity and fidelity. Eurogamer reports this change addresses player feedback that the game looked blurry, especially in handheld mode.
The patch, labeled version 5.01, also adjusts in-game lighting to reduce some of the brightness introduced in the Remastered edition. This was a point of contention following the remaster's late September release.
The Witcher 3 Remastered itself is a visual overhaul of the 11-year-old RPG, adding new animations and tweaking gameplay systems. This update paves the way for the upcoming expansion, Songs of the Past, due next year.
