Wolverine PS5 Hardware Preorders Are Live and Selling Out Fast
Sony is rolling out a limited edition line of PS5 gear themed to Marvel's Wolverine. According to IGN, preorders are now open for a black and yellow PS5 Digital Edition bundle, matching console covers, and a special DualSense controller.
Push Square reports that some items, including the yellow and silver console covers for the PS5 Pro, have already sold out. Both outlets note the hardware is set to launch on September 15, 2026, the same day as the game itself.
The controller features three yellow claw slash marks across its touchpad and grip, with yellow thumbsticks and face buttons. The PS5 bundle includes a digital console with Wolverine's face etched on top, a claw slash design down the side, and a digital code for the game.
A second, metallic white color scheme inspired by Wolverine's adamantium skeleton is also available. Per IGN, this variant is a PlayStation Direct exclusive. Console covers are sold separately for owners of the PS5 Slim and PS5 Pro models.
Preorders are available at PlayStation Direct and select other retailers, but availability is shifting rapidly.
