Wreckreation sequel gets new studio after original developer shuts down
Just nine months after the original game launched, a sequel to the racing game Wreckreation is moving forward despite the closure of its original studio. According to IGN, former Burnout boss Fiona Sperry has established a new company to take over development.
PC Gamer reports that the decision was made because the project needed "a new home, one that we own completely." The original Wreckreation was positioned as a spiritual successor to the classic Burnout series.
Details on Wreckreation 2 are scarce, but the game's future is now secured under Sperry's new, independent studio.
