XYZ Films Co-Founder Nate Bolotin Departs After 18 Years

Variety reports that Nate Bolotin, a founding partner of XYZ Films, is leaving the studio after nearly two decades.
Bolotin helped launch the company in 2008 alongside Nick Spicer and Aram Tertzakian. According to the exclusive report, XYZ Films has since expanded into a global operation handling production, financing, sales, and distribution.
The company issued a statement, per Variety, calling Bolotin a "trusted partner and friend" since the start and thanking him for his contributions over the past eighteen years.
XYZ Films will continue under the leadership of CEO Nick Spicer, COO Maxime Cottray, and Head of Creative Aram Tertzakian. Other key executives remain in place.
The studio has several projects in the pipeline, including "Flesh of the Gods" with A24, "Egg Baby" with Amazon MGM Studios, "Banquet," and "The Girlfriend." Past notable titles from XYZ include "The Raid" films, "Mandy," and "BlackBerry."
