Yellowstone's Luke Grimes says he hasn't spoken to Kevin Costner since filming ended

Luke Grimes, who played Kayce Dutton on the hit series Yellowstone, revealed he hasn't had a single conversation with his on-screen father Kevin Costner since production wrapped. Grimes made the comment in a recent interview with USA Today, per Variety.
Grimes, who now stars in the upcoming Yellowstone spin-off Marshals, was asked about his relationship with Costner. He stated bluntly, "I’ve never spoken to Kevin since we stopped working together."
The two actors portrayed the complicated father-son duo of John and Kayce Dutton for several seasons. Their on-screen dynamic was a central pillar of the Taylor Sheridan-created drama.
Grimes's revelation highlights the professional distance that can exist between co-stars once a project concludes. It comes as the original Yellowstone series has ended its run, with the franchise continuing through other titles like Marshals.
