Zelda 40th anniversary Nintendo Switch 2 images reportedly leak online
Images of a special edition Nintendo Switch 2 console and Pro Controller, themed around The Legend of Zelda's 40th anniversary, have reportedly leaked online. According to multiple reports, including from IGN and GameSpot, the images show a dock and new controllers decorated with Triforce symbols and gold accents.
The leak, first posted by the Centro LEAKS account on X, depicts black and green Joy-Con 2 controllers with gold flourishes. VGC notes the design seems to celebrate the series' anniversary rather than a specific game like a rumored Ocarina of Time remake.
Kotaku, while covering the news, couldn't help but gripe about the standard practice of locking cool controllers behind a full console purchase. The outlet's plea for more standalone Joy-Con options was cheekily added to their report.
