Zelda movie promo heats up as Hasbro and Nintendo team for toys

The push for the upcoming Zelda movie is getting a major merchandise boost. Hasbro and Nintendo have announced a multi-year partnership to create products based on The Legend of Zelda franchise, per GameSpot.

The deal officially kicks off in 2027, but fans won't have to wait that long for a sneak peek. Hasbro plans to reveal its first three six-inch-scale Zelda figures later this month at San Diego Comic-Con.

As Kotaku notes, this partnership is seen as a major ramp-up in promotional activity for Nintendo's in-development Zelda film. While details on the figures are still under wraps, the toy line is clearly timed to build hype for the cinematic adventure.
