People mostly enjoyed this slick thriller, but they're watching for the performances, not the story. Anya Taylor-Joy as the con artist Lucky and Timothy Olyphant as John Armstrong get solid praise, and the show looks fantastic. The plot itself is seen as pretty unoriginal and messy, though, with a lot of complaints about a disjointed story and some rough pacing. If you're tuning in, it's for the cast and style, not for a groundbreaking heist narrative.
