Before release
Updated nightlyPeople are cautiously hopeful for this new crime thriller about a detective racing to find a missing person, with reactions leaning positive but not sold yet. The trailers look fantastic, but there's a real worry about the story being generic. The casting news is getting hammered, with Liev Schreiber, Zazie Beetz, and Stephen Graham all mentioned with heavy skepticism. A few characters like Alucard and Maria are sparks of interest in the chatter, but the overall feeling is that this needs to prove it has a fresh take.
