Vigil
The mysterious disappearance of a Scottish fishing trawler and a death on-board the submarine HMS Vigil bring the police into conflict with the Navy and British security services. DCI Amy Silva and DS Kirsten Longacre lead an investigation on land and at sea into a conspiracy that goes to the very heart of Britain’s national security.

What people are saying
Updated nightlyMost people found this submarine thriller worth watching, carried by a strong lead performance from Suranne Jones as DCI Amy Silva, with Rose Leslie also getting praise as her colleague DS Kirsten Longacre. The core story, however, splits the room. The central conspiracy about a missing trawler and a death on the sub is intriguing to many, but a vocal group of viewers slammed its slow, frustrating pacing in the middle episodes. While the acting and visuals are solid, the plot's originality gets criticized, leaving a show that's compelling but not without its drags.
