Outbound is a cozy survival game with a solid core idea, but a mountain of technical issues is dragging it down. People love the van customization and the relaxed multiplayer vibe, which looks great and plays well with friends. The problem is performance, which is a mess with constant crashes and bugs on most platforms, especially Xbox and Switch 2, and that's what everyone's complaining about. Square Glade Games is getting a lot of heat for the state of the launch. If you can get it on PC or through Game Pass and are patient with patches, the cozy loop might be worth it, but it's hard to recommend at full price right now.
