The game
Solarpunk is a survival game in a technically advanced world of floating islands. Alone or together with your friends, you can construct buildings, grow food, craft gadgets and explore distant islands with your own airship. Use sunlight, wind and water to create an energy system and automate your processes like gathering ressoureces, watering your plants or catching fish.
Solarpunk has a fantastic survival-building core that most people are enjoying, especially the deep automation and satisfying construction loops. But the overall package is dragged down hard by consistently poor performance across all platforms, from PC to the Switch 2, and the survival difficulty feels punishing to many. It's a game of high highs and low lows: you'll love building your floating island paradise, but you'll have to fight through crashes and technical jank to get there.
