The real review
Thick as Thieves is getting a very mixed reception — it’s a game people want to like, but it’s a technical mess. The core heist gameplay, the magical 1910s Scottish setting, and the online co-op are genuinely praised as fun, but that’s all overshadowed by terrible performance, especially on PC. People are hammering the developer for the state of the launch, and it’s tanking the game’s reputation. It might be worth a look later if they fix it, but right now the bugs are stealing the show.
