A young woman, desperate to leave her small town, runs away with a charming con man, embarking on a crime and passion-filled journey through the Southeast to find her estranged mother.

Samara Weaving is the runaway star here, with basically everyone agreeing her performance as Caroline Daniels carries the whole film. She and Kyle Gallner, who plays the con man Oliver, have great chemistry, driving the crime and passion-filled road trip through the Southeast. The story itself is solid but not particularly original, with some finding the search for Caroline's estranged mother a bit familiar. It's a well-acted, good-looking movie that delivers what it promises, even if it doesn't break new ground.
