Updated nightlyThe buzz is mostly skeptical on this historical drama about a drummer boy, an enslaved woman, and a divided family searching for freedom at the start of America's fight for independence. People are wary of its story, and the mentions of several cast members, including Joel Smallbone and Ben Smallbone, are uniformly negative. A villain song is the only element getting any real praise, though it's only from a few. It's a wait-and-see situation for most.
