The real review
People are loving this — it’s a total knockout. The story about two sisters on a revenge quest is hailed as wildly original and electric, and the whole cast, especially Kara Young as Racine, is getting huge praise. Sterling K. Brown as Man and Janelle Monáe as Angie are also standout performances. The few who weren't fully on board mostly felt the pacing was a bit off, but that’s a small complaint next to the overwhelming love for its bold vision and execution.
