The film

Police pull over a woman who claims she just gave birth. But the baby — and the blood — aren't hers. Twisted lies unravel in this true-crime documentary.

The real review

Most viewers found this true-crime documentary about a woman pulled over with a stolen baby a deeply unpleasant watch. The grim subject matter, including the real-life figure of Taylor Parker and the crime of fetal abduction, is handled with a story that many found exploitative and poorly told, dragging down its reception. The only thing that gets a sliver of praise is a character named Wade, but that’s not enough to salvage it. Overall, people are turned off and left feeling this is a story better left untold.
