Evading the hard truth of their religious matriarch’s death, three sisters gestate dark ecstasies of faith and folk horror. Blessed be Mother.

What people are saying
Updated nightlyPeople are mostly frustrated or confused by this folk horror about three sisters refusing to accept their matriarch's death. The film's atmosphere and central performances from Caillin Thompson, Ella Demarchi, and Bailey Perrie get some begrudging credit for being committed, but that can't save a story many found impenetrable and pointlessly grim. It's a divisive, punishing watch that leaves more viewers alienated than moved.
