Avalon Fast's psychological drama splits the room, most are into it, but a vocal chunk isn't. The story, about troubled teen Emily finding peace at a camp only to be haunted by a voice in the woods, is where it loses people; many call it familiar or underdeveloped. The strong originality and solid performances from the young cast, led by Zola Grimmer, keep it compelling, even when the plot feels thin.
