Jackie, President and CEO of Air Cruz, runs a tight ship in her business, including a rigid anti-fraternization policy for all her employees. When a new sexy lawyer begins working for her, that policy becomes very tested.

Jennifer Lopez gets the spotlight as CEO Jackie Cruz, but she and Brett Goldstein's lawyer Daniel can't quite sell the central romance against her own strict anti-fraternization policy. The humor is easily the film's saving grace, landing well for most, and the cast—especially Betty Gilpin and a brief Jodie Whittaker—is generally solid. It's just that the story feels utterly unoriginal and poorly constructed, leaving the whole thing feeling like a decently-acted, funny shell built around a plot nobody bought.
