People think Chlöe Bailey is legitimately good as Laila, the violinist at the center of this psychological battle, but the movie itself is a mess. The story about her being a tutor for an elite family gets slammed as unoriginal and poorly put together, with a few calling out a "Tyler Perry"-style vibe that didn't work for them. It’s basically a showcase for Bailey and a few solid supporting turns, especially from Lynn Whitfield, wrapped in a plot most people found frustrating and thin.
