The End of Oak Street

It's a mostly positive ride, even if the story feels familiar. People are really into the concept of the Platt family, led by Anne Hathaway's Denise, trying to survive after their street gets ripped into the unknown, and the humor and visuals are big standouts. While the originality scores decently, the story and pacing are where it loses people, feeling a bit thin. Ewan McGregor's Greg Platt doesn't land well, but Hathaway carries a lot of the emotional weight, and the random inclusion of dinosaurs gets a surprisingly warm welcome. It's a fun, well-acted family adventure with a few bumps in the road.
