The real review

Sophia Bush's Milly and Violet McGraw's Summer, the daughter trying to stop her mom's fling, are dragging this one down — both got more groans than laughs. People found the whole "teen wrecks a luxury vacation" plot painfully unoriginal, and the humor only landed half the time. The director and Tim Rozon's Captain Otto got a few appreciative nods, but the weak story and shaky lead performances left this resort feeling pretty empty.
