Wild Horse Nine
Shortly before the 1973 Chilean coup, CIA agents Chris and Lee are dispatched from Santiago to Easter Island by their bureau chief, MJ. Amongst the Island's iconic statues, and as the longtime partners wrestle with their dark pasts and present conspiracies, Chris's newfound bond with a pair of rebellious students threatens to send everyone’s trip to this remote paradise sideways.

Before release
Updated nightlyThe buzz is mostly positive, especially for a cast packed with cult favorites. People are excited to see John Malkovich, Sam Rockwell, and a host of other sharp character actors play CIA agents wrestling with their consciences ahead of the 1973 Chilean coup. The acting is the clear draw, with the plot, centered on agents Chris and Lee getting entangled with rebellious students on Easter Island, feeling more familiar to some. While the story and premise land as solid if not groundbreaking, the real hope is that the stellar cast can elevate what might otherwise feel like a conspiracy thriller you've seen before.
