Avatar fighting game suffers last-minute Xbox delay, Switch Deluxe Edition also held back
Fans gearing up to throw down on Xbox just got a nasty surprise. The Xbox Series X|S version of Avatar Legends: The Fighting Game has been delayed with less than 24 hours to go, according to multiple reports. The official account cited "unforeseen circumstances on a backend feature" as the cause.
Per VGC and Eurogamer, the Xbox version is now slated to arrive sometime before September 3, pushing it back over a month. The delay is also affecting the Deluxe Edition for the Nintendo Switch.
In brighter gaming news, Kotaku reports that a single mod can make Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth look "utterly beautiful." The Shader Injector mod dramatically improves the game's lighting, shadows, water, and character faces.
