Avatar: Seven Havens trailer reveals new hunted hero and October release
Paramount has revealed the first trailer for Avatar: Seven Havens, the next animated series in the Avatar universe. Per Collider, the show will begin streaming globally on October 9.
The series follows Pavi, a young Earthbender who learns she is the Avatar after Korra, only to be seen as the world's destroyer, not its savior. According to Variety, she is hunted by human and spirit enemies and teams with a long-lost twin sister to save civilization.
Collider reports the series will premiere with its first three episodes on October 9. Variety adds that three new episodes will then drop each Friday, concluding the first 13-episode season on October 30. A second season has already been ordered.
Returning franchise creators Michael Dante DiMartino and Bryan Konietzko are behind the series. The voice cast includes Saheli Khan voicing the lead role of Avatar Pavi, with Aishu Devan, Akshay Khanna, and Major Curda among the supporting players, per details from TheWrap.
