Call of Duty Adds Doom Slayer Skin in Final Halloween Event
The Doom Slayer is coming to Call of Duty as a playable character, per IGN. He's arriving via a Halloween-themed update called The Haunting, which launches on September 17.
This event is reportedly the last major content drop for Call of Duty: Black Ops 7. Players can grab two different looks for the legendary demon slayer: one inspired by the upcoming Doom: The Dark Ages, and another classic skin based on the original games. His iconic arsenal, including the shotgun and the BFG, will also be part of the package.
The operator skin will be available starting September 24 through a purchasable event pass. A free tier will offer other Doom-themed items like UAC scientist skins and weapon charms.
The Haunting update also brings a nighttime version of the Avalon map, Halloween enemies for the Endgame mode, and new limited-time multiplayer content. It's a final send-off for Black Ops 7 before Modern Warfare 4 arrives next month.
