Cretton Says Keeping Sadie Sink's Role Secret Improves 'Spider-Man: Brand New Day'

Director Destin Daniel Cretton thinks secrecy is the key to a better Spider-Man movie.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, Cretton believes hiding Sadie Sink's mysterious role in 'Spider-Man: Brand New Day' makes the film stronger. He compares the tactic to how studios handled Tobey Maguire and Andrew Garfield's secret cameos in 'Spider-Man: No Way Home.'

Marvel and Sony are reportedly using that same playbook for the 'Stranger Things' star's undisclosed part, per the report.
