Criminal Minds: Evolution will end with Season 20 on Paramount+

The long-running BAU is getting its final profile. According to Variety, "Criminal Minds: Evolution" will conclude with its upcoming 20th season on Paramount+.

Season 20 is scheduled to air in 2027, though a specific premiere date hasn't been set yet. This final batch of episodes will be the revival's fifth season, which began on the streamer back in 2022.

TheWrap reports that Paramount+ shared the news alongside some first-look photos from the final season. The core cast, including Joe Mantegna, A.J. Cook, and Kirsten Vangsness, is set to return.

Showrunner Erica Messer released a statement, per both outlets, expressing gratitude. "It’s hard to put into words what 'Criminal Minds' has meant to all of us," she said, thanking the cast, crew, and fans for two decades of support.

The series is a production from 20th Television in collaboration with CBS Studios.
