Evil Dead Burn Gets HBO Max Streaming Date Just in Time for Spooky Season
The demonic party is coming home. Per Variety, the latest entry in the splatter franchise, 'Evil Dead Burn,' will land on HBO Max on October 2, perfectly timed for Halloween viewing.
The film, which first hit theaters on July 10, is directed by Sébastien Vaniček. It stars Souheila Yacoub as a widow seeking solace with her in-laws, a plan that goes horribly wrong when their secluded gathering is invaded by Deadites.
The cast also includes Hunter Doohan, Luciane Buchanan, Tandi Wright, Erroll Shand, George Pullar, and Maude Davey. The film is produced by Sam Raimi and Robert Tapert's Ghost House Pictures, with Bruce Campbell among the executive producers.
Variety notes this is the sixth film in the long-running horror series, which began with Raimi's original in 1981. The next installment, 'Evil Dead Wrath,' is reportedly scheduled for release in April 2028.
