Fire Emblem: Fortune's Weave Tops Japan's Physical Charts with 127K Sales

The latest Fire Emblem game has sliced its way to the top of the Japanese sales charts. According to data from Famitsu reported by Nintendo Life, Fire Emblem: Fortune's Weave sold 127,131 physical copies in its debut week.

Other new releases also made a strong showing. Trails in the Sky 2nd Chapter launched in second and fourth place, selling 24,724 units on Switch 2 and 21,753 on PS5. Another Eden Begins landed at number six with 14,708 sales on the Switch 2.

On the hardware side, it was business as usual. The Switch 2 led the pack with 34,341 units sold for the week. The Xbox Series S reportedly sold a mere 19 units in Japan.

The PS5 moved 7,847 units across its three models, while the older Switch 1 family sold a combined 5,705 units.
