Full Trailer For The Kings' 'Cupertino' Promises Tech Legal Thrills
A new trailer for the upcoming CBS legal drama "Cupertino" is here, per an exclusive from TVLine. The series comes from creators Robert and Michelle King, the team behind "Evil" and "The Good Wife."
The show follows lawyers Michael Price and Olivia Siffre, played by Mike Colter and Rachel Keller. After losing their tech jobs, they start a firm to take on Silicon Valley's giants on behalf of regular people.
The new footage outlines the bizarre, high-tech cases they'll face. One involves an AI drone implicated in a death, while another centers on a chatbot allegedly encouraging a child to commit patricide.
The trailer also features a guest character who warns that major tech companies like Apple and Google protect each other, framing them as the modern Goliaths.
We get a clearer look at the supporting cast, including Ella Stiller, Nik Dodani, Busy Philipps, and Renée Elise Goldsberry. Guest stars like Stephen Kunken and Fisher Stevens also appear.
"Cupertino" is set to premiere on CBS on Thursday, October 8.
