Per TheWrap, Lionsgate released a new teaser featuring Close as Capitol escort Drusilla Sickle. The character, described as having a "thumbtacked plastic face" in the novel, appears in a promotional clip from the fictional Capitol TV.
In the video, Sickle declares, "Elegance is authority, break free from imperfection." The drastic transformation left fans on social media buzzing, with many saying the actress is "absolutely unrecognizable."
One fan on X called it "perfect casting," adding that Close looks "terrifying already." Another viewer stated, "nobody plays a villain like Glenn Close." Some are already joking she deserves a lifetime achievement Oscar for the role.
The film, 'The Hunger Games: Sunrise on the Reaping,' is set for a November 20 release. It features a large cast including Joseph Zada as Haymitch Abernathy, Elle Fanning as Effie Trinket, and Ralph Fiennes as President Snow.
