GTA 6 Gameplay Debuts on South Park and New Map Details Emerge

Grand Theft Auto VI made a bizarre and exclusive cameo on Comedy Central. IGN reports that nearly 20 seconds of new gameplay was featured in the latest episode of 'South Park,' titled 'Guinea Pig On A Stick.'

The clip, shown to the show's characters by a woman voiced by Tish Hicks, focused heavily on a new mechanic. It depicted a dog defecating on a beach, an NPC picking up the waste, and the character Jason attacking that NPC with the feces, causing it to explode.

Separately, details from an Edge magazine preview surfaced via IGN. One confirms the game's entire map, the state of Leonida, will become accessible to players early in the story, not locked behind lengthy progression.

Another tidbit reveals a vehicle-summoning app is named 'Scooter Brothers,' a nod to a popular meme from Grand Theft Auto IV. Furthermore, a senior developer stated the team is still uncovering new areas within the densely packed world, which boasts far more handcrafted interiors than past titles.

All this news arrives just weeks before the game's launch on November 19 for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S.
