Phantom Blade Zero already racked up over 1 million prelaunch copies, per IGN

A new action game is off to a massive start before its official debut, per a report from IGN. Market analyst Rhys Elliott estimated the title has already sold more than one million copies ahead of its launch.
According to the report, Elliott broke down the numbers, citing 850,000 prelaunch sales on Steam and PlayStation 5 in the West. The remaining sales came from China's WeGame platform, pushing the total past the million mark.
The analysis notes that of the Western sales, the majority were on Steam. It also states that nearly two thirds of all preorders originated from China, Taiwan, or Hong Kong. The game is a martial arts action title from developer S-Game that includes actor Donnie Yen.
Elliott reportedly projected $43 million in revenue from these sales. While he suggested the game wouldn't match the historic sales of *Black Myth Wukong*, he was quoted saying "it'll sell a lot of copies this year in a crowded market."
