Injustice 3 Leak Lists Supergirl and Batwoman as Playable Fighters
A fresh leak has seemingly revealed two characters for the unannounced fighting game Injustice 3.
According to a report from MP1st, a stunt performer's resume lists motion capture work for the game and includes the names Supergirl and Batwoman. This information was separately covered by both IGN and Kotaku.
Supergirl's inclusion is expected, as she was a key character in 2017's Injustice 2. Batwoman's potential appearance is more surprising, as the character died in the Injustice comic series canon to the games.
As noted by the outlets, this could mean a new character takes up the mantle, the death is retconned, or the game reboots the story entirely. NetherRealm, the developer, has previously reset the timeline for its Mortal Kombat series.
Neither Warner Bros. nor NetherRealm has officially announced Injustice 3, but multiple recent leaks, including this resume and a playtest listing, point to active development.
