Switch 2 Sales Top 26 Million as Hardware Pace Dips 37%

Nintendo Life reports the Switch 2 has sold over 26 million units worldwide since launching last year. The updated figure comes from Nintendo's latest financial report.

The company sold 6.49 million Switch 2 consoles in the first half of the current fiscal year. However, per Nintendo Life, this represents a 37.4% decrease compared to the same period last year, when the company sold 10.36 million units.

Nintendo has now sold a total of 26.35 million Switch 2 consoles. The platform's strong performance continues despite the reported slowdown in hardware sales this fiscal period.

No new software announcements or further official commentary on the sales report were included in the outlet's summary of the financial results.
