Insomniac's Wolverine trailer shines as prequel comic drops at Comic-Con
A new story trailer for Marvel's Wolverine on PS5 debuted at San Diego Comic-Con, and the outlets covering it are pretty pumped. Push Square reports the footage is mostly in-game cinematics, and the site came away convinced the game looks fantastic.
Destructoid notes the trailer suggests the game leans toward an X-Men prequel rather than a standalone Wolverine story.
Ahead of the panel, Marvel and Insomniac also released a prequel comic setting up the game's events, per Push Square. However, Polygon's report hints that despite the positive buzz, the game's hype is being overshadowed by drama around the launch.
